Wonder Workshop Gets $20M For Teaching Robots
San Mateo-based Wonder Workshop, the developers of the "Dash and Dot" learning robots, said Thursday that it has raised $20M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by Wi Harper Group and Idea Bulb Ventures, and also included Learn Capital, Charles River Ventures, Madrona Venture Group and TCL. The company, led by Vikas Gupta, develops robots which are used by elementary schools to teach the basics of computer science and software coding.
