Sunnyvale-based Trimble announced this morning that it has sold off the assets of The Omega Group, a unit which develops cloud-based mapping and analytics software for the public safety agency, to TriTech Software. Financial terms of the sale were not announced. The Omega Group was part of Trimble's Mobile Solutions segment. Trimble said the sale will not have a material impact on either its overall or segment results.
