Sunnyvale-based Trimble said this morning that it has acquired the assets of The Omega Group, a developer of mapping software for the public safety market. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. The Omega Group provides mapping, analytics, mobile technology, and more for law enforcement, fire service, emergency medical service, emergency management and criminal justice agencies.
