Checkr, a developer of background screening and verification software, said last week that it has raised $40M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by Y Combinator Continuity Fund, and also included Institutional Venture Partners and Accel Partners. Checkr says its clients include Uber, Instacart, GrubHub, DoorDash, Warby Parker, Zenefits, and Workable. The startup said the funding goes towards expanding its offerings.
