Ebates Backs Influenster In $8M Funding
San Francisco-based cash back shopping site Ebates--now part of Rakuten--has made an investment in New York-based product discovery startup Influenster, the two said this morning. According to the companies, Ken Hirschman of Ebates joins Influenters' board of directors in the strategic funding. Influenster operates a product discovery and reviews service featuring photos, articles, videos, and other information, all tied into coupons and offers.
