Ebates Buys Cartera Commerce
San Francisco-based online rewards and cash back shopping company Ebates said on Friday morning that it has acquired Cartera Commerce, an operator of loyalty marketing and rewards programs. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Ebates said the buy will strengthen its portfolio of loyalty marketing offerings. Cartera Commerce was based in Lexington, Mass.
