Pixelworks Chops 24 Percent Of Staff
San Jose-based Pixelworks, a developer of video display processing technology, said late Thursday that it is chopping its workforce by 24 percent, in the areas of development, operations, sales and marketing. The company said the move helps it streamline its organization and move towards cash flow breakeven, and to adjust for its current revenue levels. Pixelworks is a publicly held maker of high definition projectors.
