Draper Associates Raises $190M For New Fund
Tim Draper, founder of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, said Monday that he has created a new, venture capital fund under the brand Draper Associates, to invest in early stage investments. The new firm--which had previously been Draper's personal investment fund--has raised $190M in a fund, which Draper says includes outside investors for the first time. The new fund will be managed by Tim Draper, his son, Billy Draper, and Andy Tang.
