HP has unloaded a number of software assets--including HP TeamSite, HP MediaBin, HP Qfiniti, HP Explore, HP Aurasma, and HP Optimost--to
OpenText, the two said Monday. According to the companies OpenText paid approximately $170M for the software businesses, with the Customer Experience software business expecting to generate between $85M and $95M in annual revenues for OpenText. OpenText said the acquisition will help complement its current software portfolio.
