San Francisco-based
Pivotal, which develops Agile development software, has raised a gigantic, $253M funding round, from Ford and Microsoft. According to Pivotal, the Series C funding also included all of its prior investors, including GE, EMC, and VMware. Privately held Pivotal says it now is seeing annual recurring revenues of $116M, with first quarter revenues of $83M, and now has over 2,000 employees and 17 offices worldwide. The company is led by Rob Mee.
