San Francisco-based Personal Capital, which provides financial tools and technology driven wealth management services, said it has raised $75M in a Series E funding today. The funding came from IGM Financial, which is part of the Power Financial Corporation group of companies in Canada. According to the company, it will use the funding to scale its business and broaden its services. Personal Capital says it now has $2.4 billion in assets under management, with over 1 million registered users on its service. Personal Capital is led by Bill Harris, who previously served as CEO of both PayPal and Intuit.
