Comfy (aka Building Robotics), the developer of a smartphone-driven, smart building software which allows employees better control the temperature in their offices, has raised $12M in a funding round, according to the company. The funding was led by Emergence Capital, and also included CBRE Group, Microsoft Ventures, Claremont Creek Ventures, and Westly Group. Comfy's smartphone app uses employee input to tune a building's temperature, and help companies reduce energy use. The company is led by Andrew Krioukov.
