San Francisco-based
Density, a developer of devices which use computer vision to help count the number of people in room or passing through a doorway, has raised $4M in a funding round, according to the company's backers. The funding came from Mark Suster of Upfront Ventures, along with Jason Calacanis and Jonathan Triest of Ludlow Ventures, along with others. Density uses laser tracking to track the movement of people within a room, which can be used to track usage of meeting rooms, make sure rooms are not over capacity, and more. Both Suster and Calacanis have joined Density's board with the funding.
