San Bruno-based
Locix, which develops sensors for collecting data out of physical spaces and buildings, has raised a Series B funding round, the company said this morning. The size of the Series B funding was not announced. The company said the Series B funding led by Murata Manufacturing, and also included ID Ventures, University of Tokyo Edge Capital, NTT Docomo Ventures, Acer Inc., iRobot Corp., Yaskawa Information Systems, Yaskawa Electric Corporation and Sumitomo Corporation of Americas. The company says it has now raised more than $20M in total funding.
