Quanergy Acquires Software Line From Raytheon BBN
Sunnyvale-based Quanergy Systems, a developer of solid state LiDAR sensors, has acquired a product line from Raytheon BBN Technologies. According to Quanery Systems, it has acquire Raytheon's OTUS People Tracker software. That software is used for people detection and tracking applications within the security and autonomous driving markets, say the companies. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. The two said OTUS uses human perception algorithms to identify and track people for safety and security using Quanery's LiDAR sensors.
