Sensity, a developer of IoT networking technology which utilizes energy efficient LED lighting systems for deployment, has been acquired by
Verizon, the two companies announced this morning. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Sensity is venture backed by Cisco, Acuity Brands, GE Ventures, Simon Venture Group, Almaz Capital, Mohr Davidow Ventures, Radar Partners and Silver Creek Ventures.
