Airware Acquires Redbird
San Francisco-based drone software and hardware developer Airware announced today that it had acquired Redbird, a developer of drone applications which are used for aerial data visualization and analytics for mines, quarries and construction sites. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Airware is led by Jonathan Downey. The company is backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
