Airware Finds Funding From Caterpillar Ventures
San Francisco-based Airware, which develops software for managing aerial drone data, has scored a strategic funding from Caterpillar Ventures. Size of the investment round was not announced. The companies said the funding came in conjunction with efforts to let Caterpillar dealers offer up drone services and analytics, including photogrammetry, mapping, and volumetrics tools.
