Rokid Finds $50M For Robotic Smart Home Device
San Francisco- and Beijing-based
Rokid
, which is developing smart home devices which the company says will provide information, entertainment, and "perform household chores", has raised $50M in a Series B funding. The funding came from Advantech, along with IDG Capital Partners and Walden International. The company says it is using artificial intelligence and deep learning to create a "resourceful family companion". Rokid is led by Misa Zhu.
