Augmedix Finds $23M To Shortcut Medical Paperwork Using Google Glass

, a startup which is using Google Glass to shortcut the amount of time physicians have to spend on documentation for electronic health records (EHR) systems, has raised $23M in a stragic funding, the company announced today. The funding came from McKesson Ventures and OrbiMed and also included Redmile Group, Emergence Capital and DCM Ventures. Augmedix uses Google Glass and "remote scribes" to document medical charts for physicians, so that they do not have to spend as much time on paperwork as they do now. The company says it haw now raised $60M in total.
