Houseparty Snags $52M For Group Video Chat
Houseparty, a San Francisco- and Tel-Aviv-based developer of group video chatting apps, has raised $52M in a funding round, the company disclosed over the weekend. The funding was led by Sequoia Capital, and also included Aleph, Comcast Ventures, and Greylock Partners. The company's app lets multiple users all talk to one another simultaneously on iOS or Android. Houseparty also developed the Meerkat video broadcasting app.
