Redwood City-based
C3 IoT said late Thursday that it has raised a Series E financing round, which it says values the company at $1.4 billion. The funding was led by Breyer Capital, and also included TPG, Sutter Hill, Wildcat Venture Partners, Pat House, and Thomas Siebel. Size of the funding was not announced. The funding comes roughly
six months after a big $70M funding round the company announced in September. C3 IoT develops predictive analytics applications that the company says uses big data, cloud computing, and machine learning, and applies it to Internet-of-Things (IoT) sensors.
