eBay Plans Fast Delivery Service, Guaranteed Delivery
San Jose-based online marketplace eBay said on Monday that it is launching a new, fast delivery service it calls Guaranteed Delivery, which will get items to buyers as fast as one or two days. eBay said the service, which will launch this summer, will guarantee delivery of items in 3 days or less on 20 million eligible items, with additional options for 1- and 2-day delivery. eBay said that only certain sellers will be able to participate, and must meet a certain required set of shipping standards.
