Jive Software, a developer of enterprise collaboration software , has been acquired by
ESW Capital, LLC, via affiliate
Wave Systems. The two said this morning that the deal is worth $462M in cash, and will make Jive Software a member of ESW's Aurea family of companies. ESW Capital will pay $5.25 in cash per share of Jive, which is publicly traded on the Nasdaq as JIVE. The companies said the acquisition price is a premium of 20% to the average of Jive's closing stock price during the three months ending on April 28, 2017. Elisa Steele is CEO of Jive.
