Vera Gets $15M From Hasso Plattner Ventures
Palo Alto-based Vera, a developer of data security software, said today that it has raised $15M in a strategic investment round, led by Hasso Plattner Ventures (HP-Ventures). The funding also included Battery Ventures, Sutter Hill Ventures, Clear Venture Partners, Amplify Partners, Capital One Ventures and Leslie Ventures. Hasso Plattner Ventures is the venture capital firm founded by SAP co-founder Hasso Plattner. Chris Rust of Clear Venture Partners joins the company's board with the funding. Ajay Arora is CEO of Vera.
