San Francisco-based DNA synthesis startup
Twist Bioscience announced this morning that it has added $27M more in new funding, on top of the $33M it raised in March, bringing its total funding round to $60M. The company said the new funding came from Biomatics Capital, plus Reinet Fund S.C.A., F.I.S., NFT Investment Limited, KANGMEI Group, Bay City Capital GF Xinde Life Science Investment Fund, 3W Partners Capital and Ditch Plains Capital Management LP. The company has now raised $191M in total. Emily M. Leproust, Ph.D., is CEO of Twist Bioscience.
