Twist Bioscience Gains $50M More
San Francisco-based synthetic DNA developer Twist Bioscience said this morning that it has raised another $50M in a private placement, bringing its total raised to $259M. Source of the new funding was not announced by the company. Twist said the funding will go towards an emerging vertical market opportunity storing digital data in DNA, along with its drug discovery efforts.
