Granular Acquired By DuPont
San Francisco-based Granular a startup which was developing software and analytics tools for the agriculture industry, was acquired early last week by DuPont. Financial details of the buy wer enot disclosed. Granular co-founder and CEO Sid Gorham will join DuPont, to lead DuPont's Digital Agriculkture business. Granular owns AcreValue.com, an online marketplace for farmland real estate.
