Cisco Buys Springpath For $320M
San Jose-based Cisco said today that it will acquire Sunnyvale-based Springpath, a developer of distributed file systems. Cisco said it will pay $320M in cash for Springpath. Springpath's distributed file system is used for "hyperconverged" server-based storage systems.
