Matterport said this morning that it has added $5M in a strategic funding, from Ericsson Ventures. Ericcsson joins Lux Capital, DCM Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, AMD Ventures, AME Cloud Ventures, CBRE, Felicis Ventures, GIC, Crate and Barrel founder Gordon Segal, iGlobe Partners, Navitas Ventures, News Corp, and Sound Ventures as investors in the company, whose software helps to create 3D models of the real world using computer vision and artificial intelligence software. Bill Brown is CEO of Matterport.
