Neuropace Finds $74M For Epilepsy Treatment
Mountain View-based NeuroPace, a developer of neurostimulation systems to treat epilepsy, has raised $74M in a funding round. The funding was led by KCK Group and OrbiMed Advisors. The company is developing a brain-responsive neurostimulation system designed to prevent epileptic seizures. The company said the funding goes towards commercialization efforts for its FDA-approved device. NeuroSpace's CEO is Frank Fischer.
