Elastic Acquires Swiftype
Mountain View-based Elastic, the developer of search software tools, said on Thursday that it has acquired site search provider Swiftype. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Swiftypes founders, Matt Riley and Quin Hoxie, join Elastic's team with the acquisition, as do the company's other employees. Swiftype was based in San Francisco, and was founded in 2012.
