Elastic Beam Acquired By Ping Identity
Redwood City-based Elastic Beam, which develops software for securing application programming interfaces (APIs), has been acquired by Ping Identity, a developer of software used for enterprise identity management. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Ping Identity said it will use the acquisition to launch a new product, PingIntelligence for APIs. Elastic Beam's software is used to identify and block cyberattacks which target APIs across both the public and hybrid cloud.
