Sparta Science Picks Up $7M
Menlo Park-based Sparta Science, a developer of software that uses data and technology to improve athletic performance and minimize injuries, has raised $7M in a funding round. The funding was led by Playground Global. Sparta says its software is already being used by professional and collegiate sports teams, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, San Francisco 49ers and Rutgers University. Phil Wagner is CEO and founder of Sparta Science.
