GI Partners has acquired a majority stake in two companies, and combined them into a single company. Austin, Texas-based
Advanced Discovery, a provider of e-discovery software and services, said this morning that it has merged with Washington, DC-based
Consilio, with both companies in a new partnership with private equity investor GI Partners, which will take a majority position in the combined companies. Advanced Discovery said that its current investors, Shamrock Capital Advisors and Trivest Partners, will exit their respective positions. Financial details of the deal were not announced.
