Cask Data Acquired By Google
Palo Alto-based Cask Data, a developer of open source big data software, has been acquired by Google, and will become part of the Google Cloud. The acquisition was announced by Cask earlier this week. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Cask was founded by Jonathan Gray and Nitin Motgi. The company's software is used by developers to create big data applications which are portable across multiple, diverse environments, including both on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
