San Francisco-based
Naked Labs, which develops a 3D body scanner that captures detailed 3D scans of user's body, for use in tracking things like diet and exercise, has raised $14M in a Series A funding. The company said last week that the funding round was led by Founders Fund, and also included NEA, Lumia Capital, Venture 51, Seabed VC, and others. Naked Labs' product is a 3D, scanning "smart mirror" with a rotating scale and mobile apps. Naked Labs says its mirror provides tracking of body fat percent, lean mass and fat mass, circumferences, side-by-side comparisons, and graphs of historical data. The company's founder and CEO is Farhad Farahbakhshian.
