Thoma Bravo Buys Quorum Software
San Francisco-based private equity investor Thoma Bravo said on Monday that it has acquired Houston-based Quorum Software, which develops software for the oil and gas industry. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Quorum provides software used in the upstream, midstream, and downstream segments of the oil and gas industry. The companies said the acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter of this year. Quorum Software was founded in 1998, and had most recently been owned by another private equity investor, Silver Lake.
