Lyft Buys Blue Vision Labs
San Francisco-based Lyft has acquired Blue Vision Labs, a UK-based developer of robotics and AI technology. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Blue Vision Labs said it will become the first Lyft office in London, building technology for Lyft's self-driving offerings. Blue Vision Labs develops computer vision technology, including shared augmented reality (AR) technology which overlay's a ridesharing car's position onto a rider's smartphone screen in augmented reality.
