Elo Touch Solutions has been acquired by private equity investor
Crestview, according to
The Gores Group, the prior private equity owner of Elo Touch. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. The Gores Group acquired Elo from TE Connectivity in June of 2012. According to the companies, Elo now has over 20 million installs, and is now focused on commercial end markets, including restaurants, retail, industrial, healthcare, banking and other industries. Elo and Gores were advised by Moelis & Company LLC, with Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP served as Gores' legal counsel and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP as Crestview's legal counsel.
