Confluent Finds $125M
Palo Alto-based Confluent, a developer of enterprise software for "event streaming", said this week that it has closed $125M in a Series D funding round. The round was led by Sequoia Capital, and also included Index Ventures and Benchmark. The company said it raised $206M in total funding. Confluent's co-founder and CEO is Jay Kreps. Confluent's software is used by large enterprises for real time data processing.
