Appdome Gets Private Equity Funding
Redwood City-based Appdome, which develops mobile implementation software for the security, identity, and threat defense software market, has received a round of private equity funding from DVI Equity Partners, the companies said on Tuesday. Size of the funding was not announced. DVI Equity said it is both providing an investment of capital, as well as "strategic growth expertise" to Appdome as part of the funding. Appdome offers up its software to mobile security, mobility, mobile app management, mobile identity and threat defense vendors.
