San Francisco-based
Riverbed Technology, a provider of wide are networking products, said Friday that it has completed its acquisition of Mazu Networks. As part of the buy, Mazu CEO Paul Brady has become head of Riverbed's Application Intelligence Business Unit. Riverbed had announced the buy on January 21st, saying it would pay $25M in cash. Mazu was venture backed by Greylock Partners, Matrix Partners, Pilot House Ventures, StarVest Partners, and Symantec.
