Google Adds Mobile Traffic Maps
Mountain View-based Google launched a new service today, adding live traffic maps for mobile phones. Google's new Google Maps for mobile service allows consumers to view live traffic conditions in 30 major metropolitan areas. The new mobile traffic map service also allows users to save favorite searches and driving directions. The new service requires the download of a free, mobile device application.
