Google Maps Adds Traffic Routing
Google
has one-upped its competitors in the online mapping space, saying today that it has launched a new feature which will route users around traffic jams and congested routes. According to Google, its
Google Maps
Navigation (Beta) will now automatically route users around congested routes, to avoid traffic jams detected from real life traffic condition information. Google said it will automatically use the traffic information when running Google's Navigation app, calculating whatever route is fastest.
