Trimble Buys XYZ Solutions
Sunnyvale-based GPS provider has made another acquisition this week, saying today that it has acquired XYZ Solutions. XYZ is an Alpharetta, Georgia provider of 3D software for managing construction projects. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. XYZ SOlutions' 3D software package is used to model spatial information of construction sites. Trimble announced the acquisition of Meridian, another software firm in the construction area, Tuesday.
