San Jose-based SiRF Technology, a provider of GPS technology, said Monday that it has filed a patent infringement suit against Global Locate and its U.S. distributor, Innovative Sales Southern California. SiRF alleges that Global Locate and its distributor have infringed on four of its GPS technology patents. The complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. SiRF is looking for monetary damages and an injunction in the case.
