SiRF Technology Completes Centrality Acquisition
San Jose-based SiRF Technology Holdings said last night that it has completed its acquisition of Centrality Communications. Redwood City-based Centrality was a developer of GPS and mobile navigation processors and devices. SiRF said taht the deal was worth $110M in cash plus 8.1 million shares of SiRF common stock. The deal was originally announced in June. SiRF will tap Centrality's system-on-a-cihp (SoC) technology for providing products for the mobile device market.
