eBay Buys StubHub For $310M
San Jose-based eBay has acquired San Francisco-based Stubhub, the firm said Wednesday afternoon, in a deal worth $310M in cash. eBay said the acquisition will enable the firm to expand its presence and offering in the online tickets segment. Stubhub was founded in 2000. The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2007.
