LookSmart Sells Net Nanny
San Francisco-based LookSmart has sold off its Net Nanny brand of parental control software, in a deal with Salt Lake City, Utah-based ContentWatch. LookSmart Ltd. did not disclosed financial terms of the deal. ContentWatch will gain all of the assets of Net Nanny from LookSmart, and will use the Net Nanny brand for its consumer offerings. LookSmart provides online advertising and technology, focused on pay-per-click (PPC) search advertising and a banner advertising network.
